Busways has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in The Australian Business Awards 2020 for three categories - New Service Innovation and CX Management for Cooee Busways and New Product Innovation for the digital payment system on the NSW North Coast, Nectar.
One of Busways' longest serving bus drivers Peter Perkins has hung up his hat for the last time, officially retiring after 39 years driving buses in the Clarence Valley region.
Peter worked at our Grafton depot on the NSW north coast for his entire career at the company, operating route, school and long-term charters. He was always well presented, had pride in his job and always offered quality customer service to his passengers.
"I've always loved receiving positive feedback from passengers and school children, it makes my day," Peter said of his time as a bus driver.
Customers in and around Grafton, Maclean and Yamba will now benefit from an extra 41 weekly bus services to improve connectivity and better meet customer needs across the Clarence region.
Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said the services were being delivered as a part of the NSW Liberals and Nationals election commitment to improve transport options in 16 regional cities around the State.
From Saturday 19 December 2020 to Friday 26 November 2021 (weather permitting), Route 99 and school buses 2118, 2201, 2646 and 2658 will divert due to new load limits introduced on the culvert bridge on Flowers Drive, Catherine Hill Bay.
As a result, bus services are unable to travel on Flowers Dr (between Lindsley St and Pacific Hwy).

National Road Safety Week 2020 is November 15 to 22. As part of the initiative, started by the SARAH Group, we reminded road users to be vigilant when behind the wheel, especially around large vehicles like buses.
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, at Blacktown Interchange and Penrith Interchange buses will depart from different stands to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses whilst track work is carried out on the on the main western line between The Blue Mountains and Central Station.

Due to the roadworks on Bungary Rd, buses will be diverted from Bungary Rd via Soldiers Point Rd, Mitchell St and Bungary St. The bus stop on Bungary Rd near View St will be temporarily closed.

Route 794 services will divert and miss stops along The Northern Road due to roadworks from:
