Busways’ employees raise funds for local charities
This Christmas season, Busways employees across New South Wales and South Australia fundraised for local charities, decorating buses, and spreading Christmas cheer with local communities.
With the conclusion of fundraising for 2020, we are pleased to announce that we collectively raised: $9,307!
The Christmas Bus Initiative gives employees the opportunity to fundraise for a local charity in their community to benefit others. This year, Busways employees chose to support 13 different charities, fundraising and spreading the Christmas giving mood with local communities.
In support of Busways employees and communities, Busways committed $5,000 to different charities chosen by our depot employees based on the best decorated Christmas bus competition.
