New Route 113: Chatswood Station to Royal North Shore Hospital

From Monday 12 December 2022, Transport for NSW and Busways are introducing a new loop bus route 113 between Chatswood Station and Royal North Shore Hospital via the Pacific Highway.
The new service adds 70 new trips per week, in response to customer demand. It will operate hourly on weekdays between 9am – 3pm.

37 The Boulevarde, Ourimbah diversion

To allow for the repairs to the pavement in the bus stop at University of Newcastle Ourimbah Campus, buses will operate direct along Shirley Street omitting The Boulevarde:

  • Saturday 3 December 2022 between 07:00 and 17:00.

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November 2022, Penrith Interchange buses will depart from different stands to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses.

It’s time to talk about men’s health

Mos on our buses remind us to talk about men's health this Movember. Every moustache you see helps raise awareness of men’s health, particularly mental health.  

Men die earlier than women for reasons that are largely preventable and 75% of people who suicide each year are male. The Movember movement seeks to help men live happier, healthier, and longer lives.  

At Busways we marked this month to help encourage men to speak up and have a chat with your fellow men and ask how they’re really feeling.  

Getting to school by bus in 2023

Will your child be catching the bus to school in 2023? Applications are now open for a Bus Travel Pass or School Opal Card.  As it’s a busy time of year, we highly recommend you make this application before the end of Term 4.  It’s also good to check the bus timetable to make your child’s journey to school as easy as possible.
