Several route buses and school services divert due to a road closure on St Huberts Island

A road closure by Central Coast Council  on  St Huberts Island causes several school buses to divert and miss 4 stops. 
The diversion route is via Helmsman Boulevard, Beachfront Parade, Sirius Street, Weatherly Parade, Discovery Street, and back onto the normal route.

Clarence Valley Council will be diverting traffic away from Ulmarra Town Centre to allow for major upgrades of road and drainage works from:

  • 6:00 Monday 31 October 2022 until 17:00 Friday 30 June 2023.

Due to a car accident on Avoca Drive, bus routes 63, 64, 66A, and 66C are diverted and delayed. The diversion route goes via Scenic Highway, Terrigal Drive, and Central Coast Highway in both directions.

Floods disrupting services Port Macquarie region

With widespread flooding predicted for today and through this week on the North Coast of NSW, our bus services will be diverted around any road closures or truncated or cancelled where it is unsafe to travel. Please stay safe and go to transportnsw.info for live updates.

Current disruptions:

Macleay River rising has caused several bridges to be closed: Sherwood Bridge, Temagog Bridge, Toorooka Bridge and Bellbrook Bridge are closed and we are not proceeding across Turners Flat Bridge due to likelihood of flooding. This is affecting:

School bus S474, S475 and S412 are diverting and missing stops. School bus S531 is cancelled past Pembrooke Road/Stoney Creek Road.

Route bus 853 and 830 are diverting and missing stops

New school timetables in Grafton and Yamba from Monday 7 November 2022

A range of school timetable changes will occur from Monday 7 November across Busways’ school services in the Grafton and Yamba area. 

These changes will improve student safety on regional bus services.
