Busways Driver Trainer Manager, Andy Curnow, spoke at the 2021 Australian Driver Trainer Association (ADTA) ‘Big Day Out’ in December about his experiences training drivers on Busways’ new electric buses in Western Sydney.

Transport for NSW will be carrying out urgent repairs to the heritage listed dry stone retaining wall and guard rail barrier, include some road resurfacing on Old Northern Road, at the last bend before entering Wisemans Ferry.
During full road closures, local access to Old Northern Road will be maintained under traffic control via Wisemans Ferry Road and River Road for residents and businesses located on either side of the work site.
General access will be maintained to the area north of the work area however using the following alternate route. Please note this route may take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes of additional travel time so please plan accordingly.

Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December 2021, Blacktown Interchange buses will depart from different stands to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses whilst trackwork is carried out on the main western line between Blacktown and Strathfield Stations.
