Please be advised that due to a major incident causing the road closure of the Central Coast Highway at East Gosford, most Busways school services will be running late to schools this afternoon.  

We will operate services to all schools, however delays may be up to an hour and we are asking if possible to make other arrangements to collect students.

There will be resurfacing of Pitt Town Road, McGraths Hill between Old Hawkesbury Road and Pitt Town Bottoms Road from:

• Wednesday 15 March 2023 until Monday 3 April 2023 (weather permitting) between 20:00 and 05:00

These works will be under stop-slow and detour controls.

Commuters and buses will be directed through the site under the direction of authorised traffic control.

From Monday 20 March 2023

Westpoint Tunnel will be closed due to maintenance works within the tunnel from:

• Monday 20 March 2023 between 8:00pm and 4:30am
• Tuesday 21 March 2023 between 8:00pm and 4:30am

Bus stop changes

Buses will divert along Kildare Road and Balmoral Street in both directions. During these closures, buses will pick up passengers at the bus interchange on the north side of Blacktown Train Station.

Customers can check the Blacktown Interchange map for their nearest stop.

Due to road resurfacing the southbound lanes on Carlisle Avenue, Mount Druitt between Luxford Road, and Woodstock Avenue will be temporarily closed and bus stops will be temporarily closed from:

• Tuesday 14 until Thursday 23 March 2023 between 21:00 & 05:00 (weather permitting)

During this work depending on the night, commuters will be directed to the next existing bus stop under the direction of authorised traffic controllers.
