From Sunday 31 March, due to the NAB RunWest event, Sherbrooke Street, Rooty Hill will be closed between 3am - 2pm.

Rooty Hill and Doonside diversions on Sherbrooke St, Eastern Rd and Great Western Hwy

From Sunday 31 March, several road closures will be in place at different times to allow for the NAB RunWest event:

  • Eastern Road (between Rooty Hill Rd South and Doonside Rd)
  • Sherbrooke St (between North Pde and Railway St)
  • Great Western Hwy (between M7 and Doonside Rd)

As a result, Route 728 services will be diverted:

  • The 7:47am service departing from Mt Druitt Interchange to Blacktown Interchange will follow this diversion.
  • Services between 8.30am to 11.30am will follow this diversion.

Making sure we're a great fit

The recruitment process usually takes four to six weeks:

  1. Lodge your application with relevant documentation
  2. The screening process takes place
  3. Pre-employment assessment is conducted
  4. Work-related referees are then contacted (min. of two to be provided)
  5. A pre-employment medical is conducted

If you do not already hold a current Working with Children Check and New South Wales (NSW) Driver Authority or South Australian (SA) LP Driver accreditation, you will need to apply for these (the sooner the better).

*Timeframes below are an average estimation. They rely on you submitting and applying for the required documentation/accreditation/checks, then supplying those to Busways in a prompt and timely manner to be eligible to receive an employment offer should the application be successful.
