Busways' Bus Education Program for schools teaches students how to be safe in and around buses and about the role public transport plays in connecting our communities. Teaching from the classroom, our School and Community Educators deliver tailored lessons to Kindergarten to Year 6 students in a fun, interactive and hands-on way.
We are also partnering with Adelaide Metro Rail to offer rail safety sessions for high school students who travel by train.
Each module delivers learning outcomes aligned to the curriculum, addressing areas like health and physical education, English and maths (for different age groups). For high school students, a rail safety module is now available, focussing on safety on and around trains, ticketing and behavioural expectations.
Our trained School and Community Educators come to your school classrooms to deliver engaging and interactive content to each class.
Help equip your students with the life skills they need to travel safely
and understand the role public transport plays in the community
