Get ready to roll with Busways to get to this year’s REAL Festival -- a free, family-friendly event presented by Penrith City Counci from 4pm Friday 20 to Saturday 21 September.

As the official Transport Partner again this year we will be running free shuttle bus services from three parking locations to make it easier to get there.

Get ready for a weekend of fun for the whole family at Tench Reserve on the banks of the beautiful Nepean River, with a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained.

The festival promises to be a fantastic celebration of creativity, culture, and community. The festival set a record of 50,000 people attending it last year and similar participation is expected this year as well.

Don’t miss the super popular open-air Roller Rink by Busways, plus there’ll be interactive art, arcade games, live music, workshops, a kids’ zone, on-water fun, market stalls, and loads of tasty food trucks and a pop-up bar!

Busways Penrith Depot Manager, Georgette Golding, shared, “We encourage everyone to take advantage of the free shuttle buses—it’s a fantastic way to reduce congestion, minimize your carbon footprint, and enjoy the festival without any hassle. And don’t forget to check out Busways’ free open-air roller rink at the festival!"

Busways’ free shuttle buses travel a 20 – 30-minute loop during the following times:

• Friday, September 20: 4pm – 10pm
• Saturday, September 21: 12pm – 10pm

The shuttle buses are accessible and can accommodate prams and strollers. Drop off and pick up locations are:

• Emu Plains Station, Station St Car Park
• Penrith Train Station (Stand D)
• Jamison Park, Jamison Rd (Stop ID: 2750516) and
• At the Festival, Tench Reserve
