Free Travel For Veterans on ANZAC Day 2024
Veterans and their immediate families in New South Wales and South Australia can receive free public transport on ANZAC Day (Thursday 25 April 2024).
In NSW, both past and present military personnel can present their Australian Defence Uniform, display their service medals, or carry a letter of accreditation from a recognized ex-services organization like the RSL to enjoy free travel on ANZAC Day.
Similarly, SA veterans can also wear their uniform, service medals, or carry a veteran ID card, to receive free travel on ANZAC Day.
Immediate family members of veterans in may also travel on public transport for free all day on ANZAC Day. Please remember to bring the necessary identification or proof of service with you.
It's important to note that buses will be operating on a Sunday timetable on ANZAC day,
