Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Great Lakes region.

The bus network is made up of school services to Taree, Forster, Tuncurry, Bulahdelah and Tea Gardens, and long distance coach services linking Taree, Forster, Hawks Nest and Newcastle.

Busways is excited to unveil its new seat belt-fitted buses that will service schools in the Port Macquarie and Heatherbrae regions on the mid-north coast from July 2018.

Route 151 diversion in Taree - Sunday 1 July to Thursday 2 August

From Sunday 1 July to Thursday 2 August, the 4.45pm service departing from Newcastle to Taree for route 151 will divert in Taree via Pacific Hwy while road closures are in place for Martins Bridge.
