Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Central Coast region.

The bus network covers a large geographical area including Woy Woy, Gosford, Kincumber and Wyong.

These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places. 

Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations of Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy as well as Erina Fair Shopping Centre, Terrigal Beach, and the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus.

Busways have been awarded a contract by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Outer Metropolitan Bus System Contract 6 (OMBSC 6), Central Coast.

Central Coast bus service adjustments from 30 September

From Sunday 30 September, there will be adjustments to Central Coast bus services to align with train services and changes to dedicated school services in the Lake Munmorah area.

Unfortunately some drivers from the Transport Workers Union (TWU) in the Central Coast intend to stop work over negotiations for a new enterprise agreement. Central Coast services will operate to a Saturday timetable.

On Friday, September 7, some bus drivers in western Sydney and the Central Coast intend to stop work for 1 hour between 12pm and 1pm, taking protected industrial action over ongoing negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.
