Western Sydney

Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Western Sydney region.

This bus network covers a large part of Western Sydney including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Rouse Hill, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Windsor, Penrith, Richmond and Hawkesbury Valley.

These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places. 

Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations on the Main Western Line as well as the Norwest Business Park, Westpoint Blacktown Shopping Centre, Castle Towers and Centro Nepean.

Busways has been awarded Sydney's Bus Contract 1 by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Region 1.

Route 752 & T75 Diversion - 24 January 2017

Due to rail works on the line near Tempus Street, Rouse Hill on the evening of 24th January 2017, all traffic heading west towards Windsor Road from both Tempus Street and along Rouse Hill Drive will be diverted.

Blacktown Interchange rank changes commencing Monday 23rd January 2017

Commencing 20:00 (8:00pm) Monday the 23rd January, the drop off rank at the Blacktown interchange will be closed as to allow the construction of the new overhead concourse from the main station (western line) to the Richmond line platforms.

Route 743 diversion - 23-27 December 2016

Due to extreme traffic congestion on Lawson Ave, Lalor Park from the Christmas lights display, from Friday 23 December to Tuesday 27 December, route 743 services in Lalor Park will be diverted from 6pm onwards and several bus stops will be missed.

Routes 755, 758 & 759 return to normal route - Monday 12 December

Routes 755, 758 & 759 will return to operating as normal today (Monday 12 December) from 1.20pm after affected services were diverted away from from Luxford Rd due to ongoing safety concerns to passengers and drivers from earlier incidents of objects thrown at buses last week.

Our daughter and granddaughter were the victims of domestic violence, domestic violence that eventually escalated to murder. This tragedy left 4 young boys without their mother and an eagerly awaited baby sister named Mia.
