Busways is excited to unveil our seat belt-fitted buses that will service schools in our mid-north coast regions from February 2019. It's intended buses in rural and regional areas will progressively be fitted with seat belts.

Due to the rehabilitation of the Coach Terminal site at Newcastle, bus stops at Customs House have been moved until Wickham Interchange is completed.
Route 151 diversion in Taree - Sunday 1 July to Thursday 2 August

From Sunday 1 July to Thursday 2 August, the 4.45pm service departing from Newcastle to Taree for route 151 will divert in Taree via Pacific Hwy while road closures are in place for Martins Bridge.

Due to a road closure on Macwood Rd, Smiths Lake (between Harcourt Crescent and The Jack), from Monday 6 February to Friday 3 March, School Bus 20 will be diverted away from the road closure via Harcourt Crescent, Charles St and The Jack.

On Sunday 1 January 2017, fares for Busways services operating in the north coast region will change after the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) completed its review of fares for passengers using rural and regional bus services for 2017.
Temporary Road Closure Route 153

Our daughter and granddaughter were the victims of domestic violence, domestic violence that eventually escalated to murder. This tragedy left 4 young boys without their mother and an eagerly awaited baby sister named Mia.
